One Design Racing in Big Boats is not very easy. It's a game of inches, not time. We had a great day today, finally finding our speed, both up and downwind. Tactically we also sailed a good race, but some boats got away from us. On race one, we had a photo finish with two other boats, but we came out on the short end of the stick, with finishes within 1 second of each other. The fleet is all still within range of first place with three days of racing ahead. The good news is that the weather is getting really nice, it finally broke into the 70's today, and we got to shed our fleeces. Here's some photos:
