Day 5, the sun finally came out. The first day of racing was pretty interesting. Racing against the best T-10's of the Great Lakes, was an eye opener. We did fairly well, but placed a 5 & 6. We picked up a new guy, Jay Sharkey, from Newport, we were looking for an extra person as we counted on heavy wind, and got a guy who is a great sailor. We spent the time at the party tent trying to wrestle speed tips from the best boats. Afterwards, it was a trip back into town for more fun and games.
